Yakima Rivers Festival WSDOT Outreach

The Yakima Greenway Foundation holds an annual Rivers Festival event to educate elementary school children about the environment and local agencies impact on fish and habitats. WSDOT operated a booth teaching children about ecological connectivity (wildlife crossings), water quality and land restoration.
